    Culture and entertainment

    Rab is a focal point for many top-class cultural events, especially in summer. The Rab Musical Evenings feature top musicians both from Croatia and abroad. The churches and squares of Rab are transformed into stages, each creating its own special atmosphere.

    Besides a very wide range of musical events, from classical music, to music for young people, to promenade concerts, Rab in the summertime is also an open air studio for numerous painters. The town's narrow streets are transformed into an open-air painting exhibition, which lends the town a special colour and atmosphere.

    The programme of cultural and entertainment events is designed to provide for the interests of all of Rab's guests.

    Nightlife

    Rab is interesting around the clock - take a walk, go to the beach, bathe or chat on a terrace during the day. By night, take a walk by the sea in the Bay of St. Euphemia, beneath the city walls or along the riva. That is where many will remain, drawn by an event in one of the squares, or they will meet with friends and visit one of the beautiful and spacious Rab terraces.
    Those wishing more energetic forms of entertainment will visit one of the clubs in town offering modern music or on the beach, where there are beach clubs which skilfully transform daytime leisure and bathing into night-time entertainment and fun.

    "Križevo" (Procession of the Cross) - last week in April
    • • A church procession including all the churches on the island of Rab. Carrying crosses and singing sacred songs, the procession moves towards the Old Town and finishes with Holy Mass in the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
